Police Force has arrested a 73 years old man on Sunday evening for killing his own son at their residence, Cherangany’s Chespsiro area, Trans Nzoai, Kenya.
The accused, Mr James Tarus allegedly strangled his 31 year old son to death on the note that the deceased had disturbed his evening sleep.
According to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the deceased who has been missing for four years returned home to his father’s room where he was sleeping, and he began to shake the bed which upsets the suspect.
The deceased was claimed to have been under the influence of alcohol at the time.
The victim, who had been away from home for four years, saw old father in his bedroom, taking a power sleep early in the evening.

"At his father's room, he jolted him to wake as he lifted the bed. Angered by his son's actions, the old man whacked his head using a nearby wooded bar before tyinghis rope around his neck and restraining him to a sofa," The DCI said
Although neighbors tried to reacue the deceased but he had already been dead before they got their.
"Cherangany Police officer who rushed to the scene arrested the suspect before escorting him to the station where he is being held as the investigation continue," The DCI added.
