EGBE DEGBUYI REMO DONATES ITEMS TO ORPHANAGES AND PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRES

Egbe Degbuyi Remo, a traditional age-grade socio-cultural group, comprising of eminent sons of Remo, under the leadership of Gbuyi Alaba OGUNSOLA, the Giwa Egbe, will on Saturday, 18th December, 2021, visits and donates food items; toiletries; beverages; disinfectants; and medical equipments to Orphanages and Primary Health Centres in some selected towns in Remoland.

Places to be visited on the day, include the following: Ave Maria Charity Home, Sagamu, Blessed Assurance Orphanage, Ikenne, Primary Health Centre, Ilisan,  Primary Health Centre, Iperu, and, Primary Health Centre, Ogere.

A release from the Publicity Secretary of the group, Gbuyi (Omoba) Yinka OKUNOREN, indicates that the visitation to the above-mentioned centres  is part of activities preparatory to the forthcoming formal launching and Inauguration of Egbe Degbuyi Remo, which holds on Saturday, February, 12, 2022.

It is also an attempt at giving back to the society, and identifying with the needy, particularly, at this yuletide season of giving

The team will be led by the Otun Giwa Egbe, Gbuyi Saheed OLOYEDE, who is also the Chairman of the Launching/ Inauguration Committee, and will be supported by the Chairman, Projects Sub-committee, Gbuyi Hakeem OSHINAIKE; General Secretary, Gbuyi Tope OYEKAN; Treasurer, Gbuyi (Surv.) Tola OLADEINDE; Financial Secretary, Gbuyi (Chief) Adesanya AMOS; Social Secretary, Gbuyi Adetola DAVIES; and other members of the group; including Gbuyi Olajide ODUBONA; Gbuyi Sesan WOMILOJU; and Gbuyi Saheed SONARIWO.
