A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Thursday directed the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) to allow detained founder of Oduduwa University, Ile-Ife, Chief Ramon Adegoke Adedoyin access to quality medical facility of his choice.
Justice Inyang Ekwo issued the order in a ruling on a motion filed by Adedoyin's lawyer, Kule Adegoke (SAN), on behalf of his client.
Justice Ekwo ordered the IGP to take to or allow the applicant to access quality medical facilities of his choice pending the conclusion of the investigation and possible arraignment or pending determination of the fundamental rights enforcement application filed for the applicant.
He has been in police detention facility since November 15 over the mysterious disappearance and subsequent death of Timothy Adegoke.
Adedoyin is said to be the owner of the Hilton Hotel, Ile Ife, Osun State, where a Masters student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Timothy Adegoke was allegedly murdered.
Hilton Hotel and Resort, Ile-Ife has since been sealed off after circumstances leading to the disappearance and death Adegoke were traced to the hotel.
Adedoyin, had denied the allegation of being a money ritualist or having anything to do with the death of the OAU student.
However, the report of autopsy performed on the remains of the late Timothy Adegoke, has been submitted to the police.
Adegoke died in controversial circumstances at Hiltons Hotels, Ile-Ife, where he had lodged ahead of his master's degree examination in Imoro Distance Learning Centre of OAU.
Security sources said the report was submitted on Wednesday at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja while a copy of the report was also submitted to Osun State Police Command headquarters in Osogbo.

Timothy Adegoke was said to have travelled from Abuja to Ile- Ife on November 5, 2021, to take an MBA examination at the OAU distance learning centre in Moro, Osun State, but never showed up at the exam venue and his family members could also not reach him afterwards
The student's decomposed remains were later found several days after he was deemed missing on November 7, forcing the police demand an autopsy report from the Obafemi Awolowo University(OAU) to unravel what caused Timothy's death.
