The Executive Chairman Of Abeokuta South Local Government Ake, Hon. Omolaja Ayodele Majekodunmi has calmed the tension of the motorcyclists in the LG on the excessive registration fees levy on them by the transport Union.
The motorcyclists said the accumulated of annual registration fees imposed by the three (3) Unions, ACOMORAN, AMORAN and ROMO in the State is outrageous, they implored the LG Chairman to use his good office to call those incharge of the fees to order to reduce the unaffordable registration fee.
According to Jimoh Azeez, a commercial rider at Asero said the Executive Chairman should earnestly look into the grievances before it escalates to fraca among the the established riders' union in the LG.

In response, the Council helmsman, Hon. Majekodunmi pleaded with them to exercise more patience, he promised that, Chairmen of the established Unions in the LG would be forthwith invited at the table to discuss the headlong registration fee.
He further, although, urged them to, from now, ensure to put on their helmets while riding and as well insure just a passenger.
