The Eze Ndigbo Community in Ogun State has endorsed Governor Dapo Abiodun and his Deputy, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele for second term ascribing that their consensual decision was hinged on the track record of wonderfully performance by the duo.
Hon. Monday Chukwuji, the Special Assistant to Ogun State governor on ethnic matters, Ibo Youth President, Ogun Chapter, Deputy Youth President Southwest and King of Boys ( Eze Umuokorobia of Ogun State) made this known during an interview with our Correspondent at Ifo yesterday.
Special Assistant on Ethnic matter commended Abiodun for the unprecedented achievements and overall development of the State as confirmed by the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammad Buhari (PMB) during his last visit to the state. Saying the Governor must be allowed to continue and complete the good works he started across the nook and cranny of the state.
He also commended the Governor for speedily addressing the matters concerning ethnic groups in the state. While appealing to Governor Dapo Abiodun and his cabinet to help the Ibo Community to complete their secretariat at Lemme, Abeokuta.
He further explained that, it was the Government of Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD) that allocated land for them and Amosun Government released the sum of 5million naira for the foundation. And that within the last two years, nothing has been done on the site.
" All what we received from this government is Promises. Eze Ndigbo Community are tired of promises. We need actions. " said he.
He stated further that, they will remain focused and steadfast in getting the promises made during the 2019 electioneering campaign.
