The governorship aspirant of People's Democratic Party PDP in the forthcoming election in Ogun state, Chief Jimi Adebisi Lawal has said development of Ogun State is more germaine to him than responding to agents of distraction.
Jimi Adebisi Lawal, while speaking with Amebo Newspaper NG during the weekend highlighted his agenda in securing the future for the residents of Ogun State, he started from securing lives and properties and making life more meaningful to the people by bringing governance closer to their doorsteps.
"I cannot imagine financial institutions closing down because of the fear of armed robbers, resident running for their lives because of dare devil cultists in Ijebu-Ode and other part of the state due to insecurity in the Ogun state, After Senator Ibikunle Amosun's administration where all criminals were dealt with, the regime of Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun has been so careless with securing of lives and properties in the state which is very important from a responsible government ." Said Jimi Lawal
"My government will ensure their is resuscitation of model schools which has been taken over by reptiles and bushes, because this government is not ready to continue from where last administration stopped, we shall ensure we restore pipe borne water to urban and rural towns and cities in Ogun state, also the internally generated revenue will have a drastic changes compared to loss this administration is recording on a yearly basis." He added.
When our correspondent asked how he would cope in People's Democratic Party PDP with the crisis, he replied that their is no crisis in PDP, Ogun state that the national leaders has wade into the crisis and resolved it completely, insisting that Sikirulai Ogundele is the authentic chairman of People's Democratic Party PDP in Ogun state.
"Replying the pseudonym of Reno Omokri is like wasting of time, a mole don't declare interest in becoming something anywhere they are, I picked my interest form openly and moving with the executives and leaders of the People's Democratic Party PDP towards achieving success in the forthcoming election in Ogun state, I am never a mole, but a very serious aspirant for the position of governorship in Ogun State in the next election" He added.
He enjoined the people of Ogun state to secure the opportunity to get registered in the extended voter's registration to enable the vote out bad leadership with the power in their hands.
