The Igbo community in Ogun State has affirmed Surely Solomon Ukwueze as their new youth leader under the platform of All Progressive Congress (APC).
This came after 16 out of the 20 Local governments in the state selected him in an unpossessed elections.
In an interview with comrade Ukwueze Solomon described his election as a new dawn for igbo community and the entire Igbo youths in politics.
He vowed to be just and be a representative to oversee the affairs of Igbo youth in Ogun State in the spirit of equity.
According to him "What I have for my people, I am someone that love my people so much and I want to restore peace back to the Igbo community in Ogun State.
The Youth leader promised to promote peace in Igbo community and build a very great youth with love, peace, security, equity, fairness and justice.
"These are things we need. We are the leaders of tomorrow. We cannot sit down and watch people to jeopardize the future. We need something that everybody will be seeing and believing to know that youth are working.
He also promise to work in line with the governor of the state and ensure Prince Dapo re-elected for the second term in office.
"The Governor accommodated us and we will never support any other person except him" he affirmed.
In his remarks, the Special Assistant on inter -ethnics affairs Hon. Monday Chukwuji who supported the exercise demanded good represention from the new youth leader.
The Special Assistant commended Dapo Abiodun's giant stride towards restructuring Ogun State.
He therefore urged the good people of Ogun state to support developmental programs of H.E Prince Dapo Abiodun come 2023.
Meanwhile, the Public relation officer of the Igbo Community in Ogun State , Mr. Samuel Chukwudifu Duruoha said that "Prince Dapo Abiodun has been a good governor and accommodating all the Igbo communities. He has been very nice to us and has been a good leader.
"We have been giving our support and doing all it takes to make sure that all the youth come out in mass because we have been telling them to go and collect their PVC in order to re-elect our governor in the coming election.
"The only thing we will like the governor to do is to make sure that there is nothing like segregation so that Igbos can have the time to have their PVC and vote him in.
"He has been a good father and by God's grace, he will be re-elected."
