The chairman house committee on Ecological Fund Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka on Friday evening, emerged as the winner for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal House of Representative for the third term under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Isiaka secured the victory to pursue his third term bid at the party primaries election held at the St Mary Primary Ifo, in Ifo Local Government areas of Ogun State.
The sitting federal lawmaker drag it out with Hon. Adijat Oladapo who was Governor Dapo Abiodun aids with three other aspirants: Hon. Oluwole Enilolobo, Hon. Dele Obadina, Hon. Jide Fadairo.
And they were polled, "Hon. Oluwole, Enilolobo - 6, Hon. Adijat Oladapo - 40, Hon. Dele Obadina - 0, Hon. Jide Fadairo - 0 and Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka - 59".
Isiaka polled a total of 59 votes, Hon. Adijat Oladapo poll out of 105 delegates accredited votes to defeat other contestants who scored no vote.
However void votes were recorded in the process
The exercise which was conducted by the two man electoral panel, led by Hon. Ifede Ifetayo and his assistant Mr Ayo was monitored by the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), DSS, FIB, Amotekun, Police and SWAT.
And Hon. Ifede Ifetayo announced Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka as the winner of the election after 105 delegates drawn from the 21 wards across the two local government areas of the federal constituency cast their votes for their respective aspirants.
