An Ogun State chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Armstrong 'Tope Akintunde has said that it is becoming clearer everyday that the second term ambition of Gov Dapo Abiodun would go without any attachments.
Armstrong disclosed that the various giant strides of Gov Abiodun in road and infrastructural development, education, agric, housing, health, employment creation among others have always strongly reinforce the strong conviction to allow Gov Abiodun continue governance beyond 2023.
The APC chieftain disclosed this while speaking with journalists at Iperu Remo residence of Gov Abiodun on Wednesday after defection of over 5000 members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Armstrong said "Gov Dapo Abiodun of our dear state has no doubt been exceptional with governance in the state, the developmental projects have been very huge across the state.
The property merchant also revealed further that "in terms of mobilisation, our group, Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda (DACA) has been doing a lot of work in this regard, we have left no stone unturned in all the 20 local governments and the agenda is to ensure a seamless second term for our hardworking governor, our target is to mobilise at least 10,000 votes for the governor in each of our 20 local governments.
"In fact those who want to contest against the governor are losers already because you just don't disband a performing team.
"We equally welcome those that came from the Peoples Democratic Party into the progressive, it is good that they have seen the light and they have decided to identify with the right party that is also providing the much needed leadership for the residents of the state. All these are only showing that the second term bid of Gov Dapo Abiodun is a done deal".
