The Alumni Association of Faculty of Agriculture, Obafemi University, Ile-Ife, has honoured its select members holding senior positions in Ogun and Ekiti State Government in Abeokuta at the weekend.
The classmates in the 1985-1990 sessions who were honoured include Ogun State Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Dapo Okuboyejo, Ekiti State Commissioner for Youth and Sport, Mr. Ade Awopetu, Permanent Secretary in Ogun State, Alhaji Shamsideen Adenopo and an Ekiti State Permanent Secretary, Pastor Julius Jolumo.
At a time when political leaders flaunt names of Ivy institutions as their alma mater without being able to produce a classmate, it was a moment of pride for OAU ALUMNI members and classmates to reunite and exemplify role modelship for the youth.
