The Federal High Court Sitting in Abuja under Justice Taiwo Taiwo has dismissed suits filled by Jimi Lawal' against Him. Oladipupo Adebutu as the Gubernatorial candidate of People's Democratic Party PDP in Ogun State.
Hon. Ladi Adebutu was the winners of the People's Democratic Party primaries conducted in the state, during a longer head with Jimi Lawal and Comrade Segun Sowunmi in the state.
Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu has just been confirmed by Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja in the suit between Jimi Lawal vs PDP, INEC & Hon Oladipupo.
Jimi Lawal was challenging the emergence of Hon Adebutu as PDP governorship Candidate in Ogun State. Justice Taiwo held his ruling citing many Legal authorities that “who is a delegate to vote in a primary election is exclusively within the domain of a political party and the court lacks the Jurisdiction to entertain the suit as it will mean delving into who is the proper delegates to vote at the primary”. He therefore dismissed the suit.
Justice Taiwo Taiwo dismissed the suit of Jimi Lawal' and confirmed Ladi Adebutu as binaries candidate of People's Democratic Party PDP in Ogun State.
