Ogun State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Alhaji Waheed Odusile has said the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration’s landmark achievements within the ambit of the ‘ISEYA’ mantra which are Infrastructure, Social wellbeing and welfare, Education, Youth Empowerment and Agriculture are unprecedented.
Odusile stated this while featuring on a personality programme in Abeokuta, noting that the government’s various strides had proved that the Governor was a credible, responsive and hardworking leader, who was committed to the advancement of the State and welfare of the people.
He reiterated that the present administration had been able to construct about 400km of roads across the 20 Local Government Areas, including Federal roads; Ijebu-Ode -Epe expressway, NNPC - Kuto, Lafenwa - Randa, Sango - Ijoko, Atan – Agbara roads, not leaving out the abandoned roads by the immediate past administration.
The Commissioner stated that, "Even though most of these roads are abandoned and inherited, the present administration has dim it fit to ensure their completion. The government has also done exploits in Agriculture which earned it several awards in the sector".
He said the State was presently the safest in Nigeria due to the mechanism put in place by the government to curb insecurity, adding that it had collaborated with the Lagos State Government to establish the Lagos-Ogun Joint Development Commission majorly to tackle insecurity.
Alhaji Odusile noted that there was also an interstate relationship among the Southwest States to ensure adequate safety of lives and property of the citizenry.
