His Royal Majesty Oba (Apostle) Moses Adelani Olabode, mni, Omola of Imala land has declared that Imala Community will be connected to the world through ICT.

Omola of Imala land made this declaration over the weekend during official commissioning of Providence Vocational Academy Apata, Orile Idofoi, Imala.

Oba Moses Adelaji Olabode was represented by his Personal assistance  Comrade Oguntoyinbo Bolaji Johnson, thanked the management and Staffs of Providence Vocational Academy for putting smile in his face. 

The monarch said, it's high time for Imala indigene to begin to realized what God is giving us in Imala

Our students would be able to set up and efficiently operate their ICT business center, manage and internet Cafe, carry out video recording and editing business, setting up an ict shop and planning and executing a computer networking system anywhere.

Enjoying all Imala sons and daughters home and abroad to support this vision by donating generously for the dreams to be alive.

According to Pastor Cyril Isaac Elina, Head of Admission Providence Vocational Academy Congratulaes all students, particularly Imala community for allowed this dream to come to reality 

He said, the vision is very clear and as an institution that offers technical and vocational training (TVET), we cannot be limited to just one skill. We are starting with Farm Management, Plumbing, Catering, Dress Making, Bead making and Information and communication technology (ICT) HUB.

Added that, the new training facility is designed to be a 24 seater ICT HUB when fully equipped to operate at it's maximum capacity. Presently, it is equipped with essential facility and will provide 24 hours internet service to students. Computer system for practical hand on, E-library and all necessary computer softwares for the training that would go on here.

ICT skills, Graphics design, video editing, hard ware maintenance and networking and Proficiency MS office, would be offered here at Providence Vocational Academy Imala.

And at the end our graduate would be able to compete with the world in areas of ICT HUB.

Dr Henry Ighalo, appreciate God in the live of father Oba Adelani Moses Olabode, Omola of Imala land for welcoming him to Imala community and his environs. And for him to allowed Providence Vocational Academy to have his way in Imala land and his environs.

He said, Providence Vocational Academy is a Government registered institute under NBTE and we can register students for NAPTEP examination.

He added that the dream is to expose students of Imala, Ayetoro, Olorunda, Obada, Owode-Idi Ayin, Imeko Afon Local Government connected to the world through the use of internet.

Also, they should be able to be self independent after there learning period at Providence Vocational Academy

Dr Anthony Okojie head of institutional learning advise students to be good ambassador of the school during and the educational period.

He said no knowledge is lost. They will train you on what you can do with your hands.

In attendance are Oguntoyinbo Bolaji Johnson, Chiefs' are Chief Samson Olawore(Apena), Chief Ajani Adetayo (Asipa), Chief Toye Afolabi(Ekerin), Chief Ishola Towolawi(Onlado), Chief Mrs Muyibat Mosaku(Iyaloja) and Chief Bashir Abdulahi(Baala).
