Youths in Ogun State under the aegis of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), have commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for his developmental strides, which have changed the narrative of governance in the State.
The commendation was brought to the fore during a visit to Governor Abiodun in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, by the Ogun State Chapter of NYCN led by its President, Comrade Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe.
Ayelaagbe said the Governor had demonstrated good governance and leadership style, saying, "You have reorientated our thinking from what government and administration should be. We sincerely appreciate the way and manner you are leading us in Ogun State’’.
The youth leader who expressed delight at the provision of infrastructures across the three Senatorial Districts, particularly the construction of the Agro Cargo Airport, said the project would create jobs for the unemployed youths in the State, calling for support of the government on the upcoming Youth Economic Summit.
In his remarks, Governor Abiodun said his administration would continue to engage, empower and encourage youths, as well as allow them to contribute their quota to the development of the State, noting that they were intellectual and forward-looking, and assured of the government’s backing for the Summit and other developmental programmes that would be beneficial to them.
