On Sunday, September 18, masquerades broke into a church in Shikal village in Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
They ruined the church’s musical instruments, disturbed the worship session, and beat the pastor and his congregation.
The worshippers apparently found the masquerades’ behavior shocking, but they made no follow-up counteroffensive moves.
Instead, they came together to save what was still remained of their properties.
Naijalamp gathered that elders in the village where the incident occurred are taking action to restore normalcy.
