Ahead of the 2023 Governorship election in Ogun, a Group, Dapo Abiodun Continuity Movement (DACOM), on Tuesday, vowed to mobilise over 200,000 voters for the reelection of Gov. Dapo Abiodun.
The State Chairman of the group, Rasheed Aroboto, disclosed this on Tuesday during a news conference in Abeokuta.
Aroboto maintained that Abiodun remained God sent, adding that he had done well to deserve second term in office.
The DACOM chairman added that the governor had performed outstandingly well during his first term and would perform better when re-elected into office in 2023.
He submitted that the group had gathered to support the continuity of the governor , saying that they would do everything within their power to work for the victory of the governor.
“It is a thing of joy and admiration to have mapped out a rare avenue like this to showcase the goodies of our dear state to the entire world.
” This gathering wouldn’t have mattered if our noble administration have done lesser than expected. Kudos to the captain of this administration and kudos to all loyal servants of people.
”Before the emergence of this administration, the people needed a savior, someone with an astute understanding of the business of governance and who will write the history of Ogun state and make our dear state governable. God sent to us Gov. Abiodun.
“It is no gainsaying that Dapo Abiodun has performed outstandingly well during his first term and will perform better when re-elected in 2023. Omooba Dapo Abiodun is obviously a leader per excellence.
“We all can not deny the physical developmental strides made by our principal.
“It is obvious that the second term will be sweeter than the first and we the Dapo Abiodun Continuity Movement, DACOM, have come together and will mobilse nothing less than 200,000 voters to sustain our principal’s continuity in the forthcoming election and we are positive that it is achievable.
He revealed that DACOM would be launching an empowerment link with the aim of supporting the general populace with a monthly stipend.
Aroboto submitted that the token was to support the masses , youths specifically in their little way to support Abiodun’s re-election bid.
The DACOM chairman explained that the sporting sector which formed the major hub of the youth empowerment should be given a facial agenda in the second term of Abiodun.
