Federal High Court, Sitting in Abeokuta, under Justice J.O AbdulMalik of court room 2, has ordered that People Democratic Party (PDP) to conduct another primaries for Ijebu-Ode house of Assembly candidates and must be supervised by official of independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
Federal High Court, Sitting in Abeokuta, under Justice J.O AbdulMalik of court room 2, has ordered that People Democratic Party (PDP) to conduct another primaries for Ijebu-Ode house of Assembly candidates and must be supervised by official of independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
Justice J.O Abdulmalik made the statement yesterday while giving verdict on a suit case No/FHC/AB/92/22 between Ayanbajo Adewale John and Oludaisi Abiodun Yusuf against Peoples Democratic Party PDP and Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)
Court order a rerun within 14 days from today 17th days of 2022 and that original delegates list must be use for the rerun.
Independent National Electoral Commission INEC till Monday, 27th of June, 2022.
"And Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) should not recognize Yusuf Abiodun Oludaisi as candidate of the party untill fresh pramary is conducted and authentic delegates list must be used and it must be supervised by INEC within 14 days".
Barrister OlufemiAdubi of Dewpoint Legal Practitioner, said they are making progress and he believed so much in the judiciary
Appreciate Justice J.O Abdulmalik for recognize my client worthy to participate in the primaries in Ijebu-Ode state constituency and it's environs.
Olufemi said it's very bad as some disgruntled element trying to deseferanchase the original delegate members not to participates in the Elections based on the selfish interest and also used fake delegates list to accredited members to votes
According to Ayanbajo Adewale John, of Ijebu Ode state Constituency expressed joy as court reclaim his right for him and believe that victory is sure for him. Saying issues of fake list and kangaroo primaries held on 22nd of may, 2022 we be things of the past.
While enjoined Yusuf Abiodun Oludaisi and his supporters to accept the verdict as Justice J.O AbdulMalik of Federal High Court, Sitting in Abeokuta, order for rerun of PDP primaries in Ijebu-Ode state constituency within 14 days effect from yesterday 17th of October, 2022.
