The President, Egba Traditional Council of Obas has advised Oba Jolaosho Sufian, the recently elected Oniwasinmi of Wasinmi to transform Wasinmi community and its environs more than how he met it.
Oba Dr Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo Okunkenu (IV), Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland made this call during a courtesy visit to Alake Palace.
The President advised him to look inward and consider how Wasinmi Community began. He urged the newly formed Oba to think about
things that can add value to the ancient town in Ewekoro Local Government.
He further encouraged him to look for a way of him bringing all the obaship contestants together so as to maintain peace and unity among all the people.
" Transformation and development of Wasinmi should be your watch in all ramification." Alake posited.
He also advised High Chief Lawrence Olusoji Ilori Adele Oba and Balogun of Wasinmi to step down for the Oba Elect so that the council of chiefs can start working effectively under the leadership of Oba Jolaosho Sufian.
In response, Oba Jolaosho thanked Oba Dr. Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo (Okunkenu IV) Alake and Paramount Ruler for the fatherly roles he keeps playing in all towns and communities in Egbaland. He promised to emulate his predecessor for the betterment of Wasinmi and all Egbaland at large.
