The Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda (DACA) has intensified its second term campaign for Gov Dapo Abiodun across the 20 local governments of Ogun State saying that it will never leave any stone unturned to ensure landslide victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) during March 11, governorship elections.
As part of its determined efforts to mobilize at least 200,000 votes across the State for the governor, the support group said it has began distributing thousands of fliers while also circulating video clips reinforcing reasons why the residents of the state should return Gov. Abiodun for another term in office.
The political group which is being led by its convener, Mr Armstrong 'Tope Akintunde, a top-notch leader of the ruling party is ably supported by DACA media team members which include Muyiwa Osularu, Olalaye Olalekan, Ojuri Olatunde, Awotubo Hammed, Adekitan Ayodele and Odukoya Saheed.
Armstrong has never pretended about his undiluted love for the continued prosperity of the people in the state under Gov Abiodun's administration.
The property merchant remains one of the energetic, resourceful and result-oriented youths who are in great demand to straighten the curve of governance in the country. Armstrong is believed to have all it takes to assist in building a virile nation and further give hope to the people.
Speaking on the recent storming of the 20 local govt areas in the state with the campaign materials for the second term of Gov Abiodun, Armstrong affirmed that the re-election of Prince Dapo Abiodun as well as other APC candidates in the state are of utmost importance to him because the ruling party remained committed to serving the common good of Nigerians.
The APC chieftain said that it is becoming clearer everyday that the second term ambition of Gov Dapo Abiodun would eventually be a walk over.
"I have watched many epistles written concerning our hardworking Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, I have no doubt in his re-election bid.
"Gov Dapo Abiodun of our dear state has no doubt been exceptional with governance in the state, the developmental projects have been very huge across the state and just like scholarship is given to exceptionally brilliant student, the governor should be rewarded for another term because of his brilliant performance in the last three and half years.
"It's the least we all can do to ensure that the unprecedented development across the state continues beyond 2023, in terms of mobilisation, our group, Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda (DACA) has been doing a lot of work in this regard, we have left no stone unturned in all the 20 local governments and the agenda is to ensure a seamless second term for our hardworking governor, our target is to mobilise at least 10,000 votes for the governor in each of our 20 local governments.
"In fact those who want to contest against the governor are losers already because you just don't disband a performing team", - Akintunde posited.
