Why The Kings and The Mighty always surround Daniel

By Taiwo Nodiru

It's always very amazing that an individual, a one time political office holder, a former Governor of over a decade will continue to occupy political/social spaces and more so, that men of timber and caliber in the society local/international will always love not only to associate with but love to surround.

Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD), a two term Executive Governor of Ogun State and it's also on record that Otunba Gbenga Daniel was the first Executive Governor of Ogun State that spent two terms in office uninterrupted (2003-2011)

The event of the 18th Otunba Gbenga Daniel annual thanksgiving service held at the magnificent Abraham Tabernacle Sagamu on Sunday 7th January,2023 gave another opportunity for the families, associates and friends of Otunba Gbenga Daniel to gather again to celebrate, rejoice and appreciate God almighty for His kindness/favor in the life a gentleman (OGD), who many refered to as their benefactor, a great philanthropist, an architect of the modern Ogun State, a visionary leader and an amiable administrator per excellence.

The incumbent Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR was among the dignitaries who came from the four wall of Ogun State and beyond to be part of the historic event.

The successful administration of Otunba Gbenga Daniel, 2003-2011is still the talk of the town as many landmarks achievements were recorded all over Ogun State including human capital developments.

There wasn't anything like discrimination among the four major tribes in Ogun State such Remo, Ijebu, Yewa and Egba (RIYE)as developmental projects were evenly distributed.

The Gateway Polytechnic Sapade.

The Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic Ijebu Igbo.

Above were amongst the numerous indelible footprints of Otunba Gbenga Daniel as the third Executive Governor of Ogun State.

No wonder that the Kings and the mighty will always continue to celebrate and appreciate Otunba Gbenga Daniel.

The Ogun east senatorial district will in few months to come have reasons to rejoice /celebrate as Otunba Gbenga Daniel is set to occupy the senatorial seat in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly after the February 2023 general elections by God's grace.

The expectations of the people of Ogun east are high in terms of quality and adequate representation in the National Assembly but the capacity /political sagacity of Otunba Gbenga Daniel is never in doubt as he (OGD)is tested and trusted.

The Ogun east electorates - market men/women, civil/public servants, artisans, students, farmers, transporters etc are already counting days and anxiously awaiting the election day that they will massively vote for Otunba Gbenga Danie in return of his various good gestures and for our common progress and developments to continue.

The good memories of 2003 - 2011 are set to return to Ogun east.

Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD) is the All Progressive Congress(APC) Ogun east senatorial candidate in the coming February 25th National Assembly election.

What goes round always comes round. It's good to be good. Otunba Gbenga Daniel is always the people's choice.
