PDP Presidential Campaign - Wike, Others Ignore Atiku Present In Rivers State

It's as never happened in the history of River state since democracy has come to stay in 1999 that the sitting Governors not campaign for Presidential Candidate of his political party.

The incident happened yesterday for the first time that PDP will campaign in Cross River without a PDP Governor in the state. 

Since 1999, yesterday was the first time that a Cross River state PDP chairman, gubernatorial candidate, all senatorial, house of representatives and house of assembly candidates will be boycotting a PDP presidential campaign rally. 

 Since 1999, this is the first time that PDP will not hold a presidential campaign in Rivers state because of fear of the shame an empty stadium will bring. 

 Since 1999, this is the first time that a PDP Benue state Governor would boycott a PDP presidential campaign rally in Makurdi. 

Since 1999, this is the first time that PDP will go to Oyo state and the state’s party chairman, a PDP Governor, commissioners etc would be boycotting a presidential campaign. 

 Since 1999, this campaign is the first campaign where a PDP presidential candidate would be waving at empty seats and dogoyaro trees in Gombe state. 

 Since 1999, this is the first time that Chief Bode George did not attend a PDP presidential rally in Lagos. Since 1999, this is the first time that PDP will not be having a gubernatorial candidate in Lagos state.

Since 1999, this is the first time that Ayo Fayose would not be attending a PDP presidential campaign in Ekiti as a party man. Since 1999, this is the first time that an Abia state Governor would be boycotting a PDP presidential campaign rally in Umuahia. Since 1999, PDP shall witness shall experience its worst electoral defeat in a presidential election this year. Atiku Abubakar had destroyed that party.
