The ongoing Governorship and the State Assembly elections monitored by our correspondent at Wasinmi and Itori Ewekoro local government was a peaceful process and voters were seen on a queue exercising their civic duties and there was no report of BVAS failure in the process of voting.
The newly elected federal house of representatives in the just concluded National assembly elections, Hon. Ibrahim Isiaka who spoke to journalists shortly after casting his vote at Wasimi Ward 7 Polling unit 2 described the exercise as peaceful, applauding security operatives for their support.
At the Olu Itori Polling unit 2 in market square at ward 9, Oba Abdulfatai Akorede Akamo said the election is peaceful and rancour free
But at Eggua, Polling unit 24, There were few political skirmishes as political thugs were seen harassing voters, security personnels have been drafted to the scene.
A voter, Hon Anthony Oludokun described the situation as unfortunate
