Ewekoro Council Chairman Sympathies With The Victims Of Rainstorm

The Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government has sympathize with the victims of rainstorm Ajegunle Egbado in Ewekoro.
Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa stated this during his spot assessment to ascertained the extent of damage caused by the rainstorms which occurs two days ago, and also to determine the urgent first-aid been required for immediate action that will get the victims back on their feet.
No fewer than 20 buildings were destroyed earlier this week when a torrential downpour swept Egbado Ajegunle community in Ewekoro Local Government Area, in which has turned many people homeless in the locality.
The incident which occurred on Monday, 1th of April 2023, also destroyed electricity poles across the village and plunged the community into a total blackout.
While assessing the level of destruction, Hon. Adesina, expressed profound sympathy with the affected, and also sympathize with the family that lost their beloved person during the disaster.
He stressed that anything worth doing is worth doing well. He assured that the Local Government will, in partnership with the State Government, explore ways of bringing succour to the victims.
The Olu of Egbado Ajegunle, Oba Joshua Akinlolu Oniyitan, lamented the extent of loss and suffering on the people, appealing the government to match its words with action in bringing succour to the victims.
Hon. Adesina, assured the people of Egbado Ajegunle that the issue would be handled with utmost urgency.
