Hon. Yusuf Amosun, Member, Ogun State House of Assembly ,Ewekoro Constituency, was on a condolence visit to the families of the bereaved whose lives and properties were rendered lifeless and vandalized, as a result of the torrential rain that swept through Egbado Ajegunle community, an area in Ewekoro constituency, to confirm the height of damage caused by the rainstorms, few days back.
Hon. Amosun in his extension of gifts to the relatives of the victims, were cash amounts, palliatives for more than a hundred of persons, and donation of electricity poles to replace the destroyed ones by the heavy downpour, putting the whole community in total power outage.
This gesture was profoundly appreciated by the families of the victims, and also the custodian of the land, Olu of Egbado Ajegunle, HRM Oba Joshua Akinlolu Oniyitan, and some board members of Ewekoro academic units.
In light of the above, Hon. Amosun assures to put in place necessary measures that will serve as deterrent against any potential or future reoccurrence of such incident, and also claims every necessary issue will be addressed.
