Application of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State to amend it’s petition against the election of Senator Solomon Adeola YAYI of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has suffered a huge blow on Friday.
The National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Isabo Abeokuta this morning threw the application out, dismissing it as an action that is status barred.
The Tribunal held that the Application is status barred, and likened the PDP’s measures to an attempt to cure leprosy with cough mixture.
The Tribunal which has Justice K. Dabo as its chairman hereby dismissed it.
