(Regberegbe) Egbe Tobalase Okunrin Akile Ijebu a foremost Ijebu age group has released the activities lined up for the celebration of the 10th year anniversary of the Egbe.
Addressing the media at the Egbe's secretariat, the Chairman of the 10th year anniversary planning committee Lase Tunbosun Alawiye who is also the Mayegun of the Egbe disclosed that part of the programes outlined to celebrate the anniversary include;
Health Walk/Medical outreach on Thursday 29th June, second day of Ileya where members would participate in the walk and provide free medical assistance to 1000 people noting that the Egbe would be partnering Emzor Paracetamol Company on the medical outreach while there would be a visit to correctional center on Saturday, 1st July, 2023.
Lase Alawiye who also noted that some of the members would be empowered with capitals to start up their businesses maintained that the Egbe under the able leadership of Giwa Abdulazeez Abiola Alausa had embarked on various Corporate Social Responsibility CSR services in the past such as,
renovation of toilets and abdolussion section of the Ijebu Ode Central Mosque, Reconstruction of Students' toilets at Omu-Ajose High School, Omu-Ijebu, Renovation of four classrooms at Imososi Methodist Pry School Ago Iwoye, provision of Scholarship to deceased members' children, visits to motherless homes including many other laudable initiatives like the establishment of Cooperative Society and life Insurance for members.
According to the Committee Chairman, grand finale of the anniversary would be an award ceremony and celebration party on Sunday 2nd July, 2023 at Soye Hall, off Abeokuta Rd, Ijebu Ode with a popular musician on the bandstand.dical Outreach
