Considering its record of achievement in the last 10 years of existence, the Egbe Tobalase Okunrin Akile Ijebu has been charged to continue to forge ahead and maintain its leading position in the comity of Ijebu regberegbes.
Osi-Balogun of Ijebuland Alhaji Adegboyega Shoye who is also the Baba Egbe Tobalase Okunrin Akile Ijebu gave this admonition at the award programe put together to appreciate and encourage individuals and members of the egbe who have rendered selfless services and supports to the egbe in the past.
The award event which followed the medical outreach for over 1000 people earlier put together by the egbe in partnership with Emzor Paracetamol to provide medical assistance to the general public on Hepatitis-B and Malaria.
Osi-Balogun Adegboyega Shoye who maintained that the egbe had lived up to expectations in many areas said the age group has been growing in leaps and bound since it's formation.
"It is a thing of joy to us seeing you waxing stronger, just like yesterday it's been 10 solid years and we are grateful to Almighty God for the grace.
"The egbe had made 10 consecutive appearances at the Ojude Oba, the egbe have won 1st position once, 2nd position twice and 3rd position three times, this signifies preparedness, consistency and teamwork". Osi-Balogun Shoye noted.
Earlier, the Giwa-Egbe Abdulazeez Abiola Alausa in his welcome address said the egbe couldn't have recorded the huge success without the benevolence of Almighty God, supports from the elders and cooperation of members.
