The Executive Chairman, Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Ogunsola Adesina Lanre receives the upper echelon of the Abeokuta Harmony Lions Club International, District 404B3 in his office on a courtesy visits.
Speaking at the visits, Amb. Ogunsola who is a member and co-founder of the wing of the Club, appreciates the delegation for identifying with the local government as he is proud of the club's outreach in communities, local government and Ogun state as a whole.
He therefore used the occasion to solicit from the club a modern public toilets which will be erected, donated for the use of the pupils in the school.
" Our administration has just constructed a new blocks of classrooms at Agboopa community in Obafemi Owode Local Government which will be Commissioned in due time.
I want to request your presence in the school by donating a modern toilet facility which will go along way in partnering with the us as government", said Council boss.
Earlier, Lion Dr. Kehinde Badru, President, Abeokuta Harmony Lions Club, District 404B3 highlights that the visit is aimed to intimates council boss on the projects of the club, centered at decorating the best graduating students of Federal College of Education, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago iwoye with the scholarship, also to introduce the new leadership of the club.
He further presents a big waste bin and two medium size for waste disposal within the council secretariat, as it is essential to control wastes disposal within our community.
In the same vein, Lion Barr. Prince Tosin Taiwo, Immediate Past Region Chairman on behalf of the club, assures a modern toilet as requested by the council boss.
On the parting shot, Lion Fatai Ogundele, who double as the Head of Local Government Administration, Obafemi Owode Local Government thanks the council boss for hosting the delegation despite his tight schedule. He prayed and wish both the club and council success in their endeavor.
