Ogun State traditional rulers has advised to promote peace, unity and orderliness between their followers and members of other religious groups through their practices.

Monarch said, 2023 Isese day celebrations was another testament to the genuine commitment of the present administration to inclusivity and a stern belief in upholding cultural values, traditions and religions as long as they do not pose a threat to the unity or peaceful co-existence within the State.
He urged the traditionalists and sons and daughters of Obada both home indiasporal to seize the opportunity of the celebration of Isese day to propagate the preservation of “our cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations to prevent its extinction”.
He said, today we are celebrating 3rd Isese day and 1st Obada Day in the history of Obada.
While enjoined all individuals resides in his Community to see Obada Oko as their own town. Saying theirs no strangers in Obada and it's environs.
Also speaking at the event,
a related development, His Royal Highness Oba Kashimawo Adisa Olu of Opelifa, Obad expressed the appreciation of traditionalists in the state to the Dapo Abiodun-led administration for fulfilling his promise and unwavering support towards engendering the annual celebration of the festival.
Similarly, Chief Edward Dada Lahunsi - Baale of Sorobi Community, and Chief Awoyemi Lukmon Ojetola, Aseda Onifa of Obada, called on traditionalists to use the occasion of Isese Day to pray for peace, tranquility and unflinching love for one another among the people irrespective of their differences.
He applauded Governor Dapo Abiodun for declaring a Work Free Day to celebrate the Day annually.
