Joseph Aloba, the father of late Nigerian singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad has shed more light on the things he battled before his tragic death.
In a fresh video obtained by DAILY GIST on Wednesday, the father noted that in all the statements that have been put out by arrested parties over his son’s death, he believes the truth will prevail.
According to him, the late singer did not get peace from his wife, and he was told that at one time, he said he would throw his little son, Liam into a river.
Mixed reactions have trailed the Mohbad’s dad’s video with Netizens calling him out over his fresh revelation.
DAILY GIST reported that Mohbad passed away in Lagos at the age of 27. However, the controversy surrounding his demise raised concerns from his fans who have been calling for justice.
His body was exhumed on 21 September for autopsy. The result is, however still pendind.
He stated that the late singer did not have peace in his home with his wife and he was always scared to be outside.
Aloba added that his son could not sleep in peace in his house because people were constantly taking money from his account.
Mohbad’s dad also added that he knows his son loved him but he was never allowed to do anything for him.
In another report, a yet-to-be-identified man has alleged that the late Nigerian singer secretly did his sin DNA test before his demise.
The Nigerian man who took to his social media pages to narrate the circumstances shared the result of the alleged DNA test Mohbad conducted.
He also disclosed that the singer couldn’t say his findings to the public because he was going through trauma and didn’t want his situation to get worse.
In his words, “It is very glaring that Mohbad is not the biological father of that Liam. It will shock you when I tell you that Mohbad did a DNA test for Liam while he was alive and the result was negative.
“Negative in the sense that Mohbad is not the biological father but due to what Mohbad was going through, he couldn’t say it out. Due to the trauma, he couldn’t say it out.”
