My Community Is Not Safe For Criminals - Oba Jolaosho Break Silent

The Ogun Traditional Ruler has charged the Divisional Police Officer of Itori Division to help chase all criminals hiding in Wasinmi out. He avowed that his leadership will not tolerate any illegality within his community .

Oba Suffian Adisa Jolaosho, the Olu Of Wasinmi land stated this while receiving the Mr Jacob Olayemi, the DPO of Itori police Division and his team in his palace.

He said "Wasinmi Community is part of the four towns in Abeokuta; Egba Ake, Egba Oke-Ona, Egba Owu, Egba-Gbagura and that Wasimi rules over 100 villages in Ewekoro local government areas of Ogun State."

 The monarch charged the DPO to ensure that peace and tranquility returned to the land and that those involve in creating chaos should write undertaken before being released or pardon.

Considering the king’s utterance, it was conveyed that the issue has been tabled before him earlier that day while the matter have been resolved within the two parties and they even hugged each other and go behind to do things against the law of the land.

Oba Jolaosho stated further that he has a lot of work to do in Wasinmi regarding those that are selling hard drugs, land grabbers "Omo Onile" and ensure that Wasinmi is a crime free area for all travelers and residents.

In his response, Mr Olayemi Jacobs, the Itori Divisional Police Officer appreciates the monarch for honouring him and his team. He said that  anyone that disobeys or disregards the order of the land will be punished severely according to the law.

The DPO's company narrated their experience while intervening during the fight. He said they were engaged by the boys on arrival.

The DPO further assured the king on proper security and handling of the issue at hand.

The DPO appreciates the Olu of Wasinmi in council headed by regent Chief Ilori Balogun of Wasinmi for holding Wasinmi firm for close to 2years without a king.
