The Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government Area of Ogun State, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa has bagged another award to his kitty. No doubt, the award is a testament to the indomitable spirit, unwavering commitment and great love for the people of the council area through impactful projects that cut across the length and breadth of Ewekoro Local Government.
It was a day, the Baales congregated at the Local Government conference room at the council secretariat, Itori, to recognize and exalt the pinnacle of excellence, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa for his extraordinary achievements, dismantling barriers, inspite of the lean purse of the council to achieve loftier goals.
Speaking at the presentation of the award, the chairman of the Council of Baales, Chief Emmanuel Sunday Ojo, eulogized the council boss for his contributions to the growth of Ewekoro Local Government and in particular Baales in the council area, both financially and in terms of well-being which had greatly assisted them in the smooth running of affairs of various communities.
" Hon Adesina has done a lot for us, not only the Baales but the entire people of Ewekoro Local Government. No doubt about it, he is leaving an indelible mark for the generations to come." - - - Chief Ojo stated.
Similarly, the Olu of Itori, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Abdul Fatai Akorede Akamo, Olunla, the Agbodere first, who equally received an award as Royal Golden Father, speaking through Chief Wale Bankole, Adagunja of Itori, Egbaland attested to the laudable achievements of the Executive Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, saying, " It is a well deserved award"
The monarch, appreciated the council of Baales for being in one accord, adding, " That is why you have been able to come together to honour our chairman and His Royal Majesty with awards."
Oba (Dr) Abdul Fatai Akorede Akamo, then enjoined the Baales to mobilize their people in various communities to give the present administration the necessary support needed to further bring Ewekoro Local Government to its rightful place as being championed by Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa by paying their taxes and levies into the coffers of the Local Government.
In his response, the Executive Chairman and the awardee, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa, was full of appreciation to the council of Baales for the presentation of the award, saying, " It is a huge honour to receive the award, i want to assure you that, it is a call to do more greater things for the betterment of our people."
HON Adesina, therefore assured them that he would not relent in meeting the yearning of the people in the council area.

The Council boss reacting to the construction of the on-going council of Baales complex, he advised them to set aside a day for the sons and daughters of the Local Government, both at home and in diaspora to come together to donate towards the project as the government can not do it alone while it will also give people the sense of belonging, thereby contributing their own qouta.
The Executive Chairman, Hon Adesina Sikiru Adisa had earlier, late last year, received award of ICON OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION by City Herald Magazine, he equally emerged as the winner of the National Award of DISTINGUISHED CHAIRMAN OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT IN NIGERIA ON ROADS AND RURAL INTEGRATION by Roots watch Magazine.
