After I escaped people asked me if I ever saw planes giving Boko Haram food in Sambisa forest - Victim

By Our Correspondent

Amina Ali Nkeki, one of the Chibok schoolgirls who escaped from Boko Haram's hideout in Sambisa forest, has shared insights into how the terrorist group sustains itself with food in the forest

In a video recently shared on YouTube by Silverbird TV, Nkeki said Boko Haram's method of acquiring food involves raiding and pillaging towns they invade. She said they plunder food supplies from these towns and carry them back to their hideouts in the forest. She said this method ensures a constant food source for the group amidst their violent activities.

Nkeki disclosed that after she escaped from captivity, she was asked about rumors of planes delivering food to Boko Haram in Sambisa forest but she clarified that during her time in captivity, she never witnessed such delivery. She, however, acknowledged the possibility, suggesting that it could happen, although she personally did not see any evidence of it.

In Nkeki's words: "After I escaped people asked me if I ever saw planes giving Boko Haram foods in Sambisa forest and I said I never saw it but maybe it happens"
