The President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, on Sunday ordained David Achudume, Apostle Lawrence and Reverend Fola’s son as pastor.
The ordination which took place in a solemn assembly of Victory Life Bible Church International (VLBC) at the closure of the Youth On Fire Convention tagged “Alive.”

The convention was held in honour of the indelible legacy of late Reverend Fola Achudume.

Bishop Wale Oke who delivered a heartfelt tribute, said, “we gather today to honor Reverend Fola Achudume, a trailblazer whose impact will be felt for generations. We celebrate her life, knowing that her legacy will continue to inspire and empower all especially the vibrant youths in different stages and status”.

With prophetic authority, Bishop Wale-Oke declared, “David, you have been chosen to carry the mantle of your mother’s legacy. You have demonstrated unwavering dedication, discipline, and a heart for God. Step up your relationship with God, and go forth into the world, building upon the foundations laid by your mother. Exceed her achievements, and spread the gospel with unrelenting passion!”

After the spiritual declaration and prayers, the congregation erupted in thunderous applause after which the Bishop offered a heartfelt benediction, praying for the Achudume family and the entire VLBC INT’L congregation. “May God bless and prosper you all. May Reverend Fola’s legacy continues to inspire and empower us to greatness.”

Earlier, in a goodwill message wrapping up the VLBC INT’L Youth on Fire Convention, Apostle Lawrence Achudume, Reverend emphasized the importance of youth entrepreneurship. “Youths, you must be self-reliant! Create your own opportunities, innovate, and take charge of your economic destiny. The future belongs to entrepreneurs, not employees. My wife’s vision was to equip young people with skills and resources to succeed.”

In memory of his spouse, Apostle Achudume presented cash awards to deserving youths and young entrepreneurs, championing Reverend Fola’s vision of empowering the next generation.

According to Apostle Lawrence Achudume, “My wife, Reverend Fola, believed in the potential of young people, particularly teenagers and youths. She was passionate about empowering them with skills and knowledge to secure a brighter future. In line with her vision, some selected few will also receive free training in fashion design and tailoring, equipping them to become self-sufficient and inspiring hope in their generation. This initiative keeps her legacy alive, supporting her conviction that the youth hold the key to a transformative tomorrow.”
