President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that despite widespread criticism, the tough policies enacted by his administration will eventually be appreciated.
Speaking through Femi Gbajabiamila, his Chief of Staff, during the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-West Assembly at Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, Tinubu emphasized that the current reforms are necessary to set Nigeria on the path to prosperity.
Addressing key APC leaders, including governors and lawmakers, Tinubu stated, “We acknowledge that our decisions have been tough, but they needed to be taken. The gains are at the end of the tunnel."
The president stressed that his focus is not on the 2027 elections, but on improving the lives of Nigerians and securing a prosperous future for the next generation. He added, "This is the hallmark of a true leader.”
