As the delegation of the Ogun State Government reconverges in Wasinmi, Ewekoro Local Government where the inaugurated joint peacekeeping committee on Farmers and Herders presents a detailed report of their fact-finding mission from the field in the third quarter of the year.
The delegation was led by Senior Special Adviser to the governor on Inter-Ethnic Affairs Mallam Hadi Sani who appreciated the productive effort of the committee, received the details of the report, and commenced modalities of implementation
SSA on Agriculture Dr. Angel Adelaja Kuye emphasized the effort of the government towards food security as she detailed different strategies and modalities safeguarding our farmlands.
Prince Dasaolu Adesegun who is the leader of South West Commodities Farmers appreciates the effort and assured a synergy to the regional approach of farmers and herders conflict resolution.
Alhaji Kabir Labar South West Chairman of Miyeti Allah on behalf of the entire Fulani leadership assured their readiness to cooperate towards strengthening enabling environment and food security.
