It was a colourful celebration in the city of Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government areas of Ogun State as a thousand of Old Student of Emmanuel Commercial High School, Ilaro trope out in a large number to celebrates 50th founders day anniversary of Emmanuel Commercial High School and to remember the founder and personality late Chief Dawotela.
The citadel of learning Emmanuel Commercial High School Ilaro, was established by Late scholar Chief Dawotola in 1974 in Ilaro, Yewa South Local Government, Ogun State after when he returns to his home town from the northern part of the country. And by the special grace of God the institution 50th years of existence is between 1974-2024.
Activities marking the 50th founders day ceremony include road show across the city of Ilaro, visit to Ilaro correctional center, visit to Motherless homes and homage His Royal Majesty Oba Pst Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, Olu of Ilaro & Paramount Ruler of Yewaland Palace. Also homage to home of late Chief Dawotola homes at Modeolu compound Ilaro.
