Thunderous Jubilations As Igbile -Ijebu Community Gets New Transformer. ...as we work to create light for others, we naturally light our own way

To improve living and sustain businesses for people and residents in Igbile -Ijebu in the Odogbolu Local Government area of Ogun State, the Oba Elect in collaboration efforts with the daughters and sons of the agrarian town has bought and installed a new 500KVA transformer on the 26th of October, 2024 to fuse out the old 100KVA transformer that got burnt on the 6th October which was donated to the community by Late Lt. General Oladipupo Diya(Rtd.).

Speaking at the installation of the power transformer, the newly elected  JAUN OF IGBILE -IJEBU, Oba Abdsallam KOLAWOLE thanked everyone who has contributed for taking the community out of darkness, which it had experienced for weeks.

According to him, businesses in the area have suffered, adding that the residents of the town had to go the extra mile to purchase fuel on a daily basis to sustain their businesses.

"I am using this medium to thank various individuals who Almighty Allah has used in getting another transformer and perimeter fencing of Parako United Primary School, Igbile. This gesture would put an end to the hardship that had been impacted on the lives, health, businesses, work and security of the community," he said.

A resident, Mrs. Dorcas Ogunlade, lamented that they had experienced unstable power supply for weeks as a result of the power condition of the transformer.

She expressed her gratitude and appreciates all degrees of individuals Almighty Allah had used in putting an end to the blackout which the people had interested in the weeks. Also, residents in the community were excited by the donation of the transformer.

Another resident, Mr. Abagun Olusegun who also thanked the Oba-Elect and the individuals for their magnanimities, said several other businesses including welding, hairdressing, building, to mention a few, had suffered a great deal in the area, adding that the installation of the transformer would bring the community out of darkness.
