Members of Federal House Of Representative, Representing IjebuNorth, Ijebu East and Ogun waterside Federal Constituency Hon. Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan (JFA) has distributes food sturfs to over Ten Thousand 10,000 people of his Constituency.
The distribution of foodstuffs which include, bags of rice and beans, began on Christmas Eve, continued on Christmas Day and Boxing Day, across the three Local Government form his Constituency.
The 3-day JFA Festival of Gifts brought joy to many families as Hon. Joseph Folorunsho Adegbesan opened his doors to thousand's of constituents from Ijebu Igbo, Ago Iwoye, Oru, Awa, Ilaporu, and Mamu. While that of Ijebu East Local Government and Ogun Waterside Local Government were transported in trucks to their respective local governments for distribution.
The festive atmosphere was alive for 3 days with hope and gratitude as people entered his compound empty-handed, only to leave with joy, smiles, and hearts full of gratitude.
"This is a wonderful surprise, myself and my three children collected bags of rice and beans." said Mrs. Adebowale. Another beneficiary, Mr. Akanni Rafiu said, "This is how Alaanu lọmọ used to do for us every year, it has always been a cheerful Christmas in his house. May God continue to bless Hon. Adegbesan for remembering us during this special time".
The food distribution was part of Hon. Adegbesan's efforts to support vulnerable members of the community and spread love and kindness during Christmas.
In an interview with one of the party leaders from Iwopin in Ogun Waterside, Alhaji Folorunsho (Alhaji Agba), he said, "What you are seeing here today is an annual tradition that is more than just a gift distribution; it is a testament to Hon. Adegbesan’s unwavering commitment to his people, ensuring that no one is left out of the Christmas celebrations."
