Ilaro, Ogun State – Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi has extended heartfelt appreciation to the esteemed guests who made the 2024 Oronna Day Celebration a resounding success.
In his message of gratitude, Senator Adeola acknowledged His Excellency, Governor Dapo Abiodun, for his steadfast commitment to the progress of Yewaland and Ogun State. He also expressed deep appreciation to the Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, for her invaluable support and presence at the event.
Special recognition was given to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, and other distinguished Senators and Members of the House of Representatives who attended, as well as the Honourable Minister of State for Health, Dr. Iziaq Salako for their dedication to national and community development.
Senator Adeola also commended the leadership and contributions of the All Progressives Congress (APC) executives and members in Ogun State, various socio-cultural groups, and other well-meaning individuals from across Nigeria for their active participation in celebrating Ilaro’s rich cultural heritage.
In his remarks, Senator Adeola paid glowing tribute to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Olugbenle, MFR, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland, for his visionary leadership and passion for the advancement of Yewaland. He further extended his gratitude to the traditional rulers from Ogun West and beyond, whose presence emphasized the unity and cultural pride of the region.
“The support we received from all sectors of society has been overwhelming. It reflects our shared commitment to preserving our heritage and fostering development in Yewaland and Ogun State. Together, we are laying a solid foundation for a brighter future,” Senator Adeola stated.
He reaffirmed his dedication to promoting cultural preservation and socio-economic growth, expressing optimism that future celebrations will continue to strengthen the bonds of unity and progress in the region.
